Cambridge Assessment International Education in SA

Tutors & Exams are delighted to announce our centre in South Africa is now approved to assess Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) qualifications with immediate effect.

Tutors & Exams is committed to providing assessment facilities for those outside of mainstream education. Tutors & Exams International, a subsidiary of Tutors & Exams based in the UK, opened its first international centre in Centurion in January 2021 with approval to assess Pearson Edexcel International A Levels (IALs) & International GCSEs alongside Cambridge Admissions Tests (university entrance exams). We also operated ‘pop-up’ centres for recent May/June exams in Cape Town and Port Elizabeth.

Having also attained Global Cambridge Associate status we are now able to provide examination venues for private candidates wishing to sit Cambridge International A Levels and IGCSEs.  The first opportunity to do so will occur in ‘November 2022’ series (Friday 30 Sep to Friday 18 Nov).  Please note if you wish to sit A Level Science examinations you can only do so if you are carrying forward the practical you sat, within the last 13 months, as part of your AS exam. Tutors & Exams are working towards offering A Level Science Practicals within centre and hope to make an announcement soon.

If you wish to sit any CAIE examinations that are available in the November 2022 series, or beyond, you can apply to do so via our online application form.  Alternatively you can visit our website

Please note that our deadline for November 2022 examinations, where standard entry fees apply, is 12th August 2022.  Thereafter late entry fees will be charged.

Where Tutors & Exams don’t have a dedicated examinations centre, we are busy building a global network of affiliate centres willing to host private candidates via our Exam Centre Locator Service (ECLS). Private candidates or examination centres wishing to host private candidates can find details via
